Description The Certificate / Diploma in Child and Adolescent Counselling is designed to develop skilled professionals capable of addressing the growing psychosocial and emotional needs of children and adolescents. With increasing awareness of mental health, child protection, positive parenting, and family well-being, there is a rising demand for trained counsellors in schools, healthcare settings, NGOs, child care institutions, and government agencies.

This programme equips learners with the knowledge, practical skills, and professional competencies required to support children, adolescents, and their families through counselling and guidance. It combines theoretical learning with extensive hands-on training, enabling participants to apply counselling techniques in real-life situations and prepare for both employment and independent professional practice.

The programme also follows a Walkout Procedure, allowing participants who successfully complete the first six months and pass the prescribed examination to receive a Certificate in Child and Adolescent Counselling. Those who continue and successfully complete the full one-year programme will be awarded a Diploma in Child and Adolescent Counselling.
